Influence of Rice Husk Biochar and Lime in Reducing Phosphorus Application Rate in Acid Soil: A Field Trial with Maize

چکیده
Biochar has been suggested for application in acidic soils increasing agricultural productivity, as it may result the benefits of sustainable carbon offset into and soil fertility improvement. However, role biochar enhancing nutrient bioavailability plant performance is manifested through complex interactions biochar-soil-plant. Moreover, not yet known how a crop-residue-derived would perform when applied with reduced rate lime phosphorus. Here, we examined maize different combinations biochar, lime, phosphorus (P) rates under field conditions. Specifically, rice husk (10 t ha?1) was 75% required three fertilizer (100%, 75%, 50%). The results showed that incorporation irrespective P application, significantly increased (nitrogen P) availability, while aluminum (Al) iron (Fe) concentrations were reduced. Furthermore, combined lower amount (75% recommended amount) half P, production by 62.38% compared to control. Similarly, uptake plants same treatment (e.g., 231.88%). respiration (CO2 emission) only control; these treatments resulted higher loss, CO2 from (84.94% 67.50% (T2), (RHB) 50% triple superphosphate (TSP) (T5), respectively). Overall, our findings imply sustain productivity acid even applications are made at rate.

A-7-6 lateritic soil was treated at British Standard Light (BSL) compaction energy with up to 8% lime content (by dry weight of the soil) at 2% variations and each was admixed with up to 8% rice husk ash (RHA) at 2% variations. Effects of the ash on the soil-lime mixtures were investigated with respect to unconfined compressive strength (UCS) and coefficient of permeability. The UCS of the spec...
